Nasinu must win all their remaining games in the Vodafone Premier League to stay in the top competition for 2021.

Coach Tagi Vonolagi fired a timely reminder with three rounds to play.

Nasinu is currently 7th with eight points on the table with Navua on seven points.

And their match against Suva on Sunday would be a crucial one.

Vonolagi said this will be a good game for them.

“We are training hard because we need to win to stay in the Premier league,” Vonolagi said.

“And Suva will be tough as they will fight for the top spot on the table.

“They are a good side as they have better players and have the strength on the bench as well.

“I may only have one or two from the bench.”

Suva has star reps like top-scorer Sairusi Nalaubu and striker Christopher Wasasala.

“But Suva has not won against us this year, in the league, Battle of the Giants and Inter-district Championship, but we do not want to rely on that.

“We need to play until the 90th minute,” he added.

Vonolagi indicated that opponents usually win against them in the final minutes of the game.

That is one area that his side needs to focus on.

Nasinu will feature most of its players from the IDC.

“There is a slight change as  I’ve brought in a few boys from the club games and  one or two might  on the run-on side,”

Meanwhile, the jetsetters who are currently 4th on the ladder with 6 wins and 5 losses will be aiming to beat Ba following a dismal IDC tournament.

They take on the Men in Black on Saturday at 3pm while IDC champs Labasa hosts Lautoka at Subrail Park at 1.30pm.

On Sunday, Suva faces Nasinu at the ANZ Stadium and Navua hosts Rewa at the Uprising Sports Centre. Both games kick-off at 3pm.
