Captain Cook Cruises is offering an experience that Suva residents previously had to go to Nadi for. It’s the $99 per person, Suva Harbour sunset dinner cruise, which begins at 6pm and ends at 9pm.

The journey starts with registration at Grand Pacific Hotel with a Captain Cook Cruises staff member conducting thermal screening and other aspects mandated by the Ministry of Health. And Suva was not chosen by chance but because the Captain Cook Cruises clients that were travelling on the weekend cruises in Nadi were mostly from Suva.

Captain Cook Cruises Operations Manager Alifereti Koroilavesau said they are offering a Nukulau Day Cruise and Suva Harbour sunset dinner cruise at $99 per person on either cruise as an introductory offer for a month. This is on their big, modern catamara, Fiji One. “I would advise corporate groups or families that want to travel within this festive season to capitalise on this opportunity, because the introductory offer only lasts for a month. “So whether you travel in December, January or February you book now you will still pay a rate of $99 per person. Everything is provided on board except for the liquor and beverages which is available at the purchase bar.”

Mr Koroilavesau says they have received advanced bookings for the months of November and December. “We have had enquiries and corporate bookings from groups for their Christmas party, Christmas dinner and some companies have asked for a family day out in Nukulau. “This is a positive sign for the Fiji One catamaran. “We chose Suva as our destination after the restrictions were lifted. “We did a market research and we sent out questionnaires and we found out most of our customers were interested in having the Fiji One catamaran in Suva to cater for the Suva market.”

Mr Koroilavesau highlighted Suva was different, because it has a cultural buzz and that there’s a lot of economic movement. “Our service and our delivery is different. We love what we do in serving our guests onboard and most of our guests in Fiji and worldwide have been returnees. “We believe in our product, it’s unique and so far we have not received any complaints. “We have given out surveys to guests that come on board through email and these guests offer recommendations and suggestions that we do take seriously. With the recommendations and suggestions from guests it helps us with our products and service delivery.”
