Join The Westin Denarau Island Resort and Spa tomorrow for the Melbourne Cup celebrations.

In what is a first for the resort, the Denarau Golf and Racquet club will be the centre stage for festivities, where guests will mark the occasion with a late lazy lunch, and a fashion show featuring six local designers.

The programme will also include live coverage of the Melbourne Cup Race, a betting station, best dressed prizes and a live DJ.

A table for six costs $600 and covers alfresco dining with gourmet appetitisers and a menu featuring:
live stations of seafood, vegetarian, wood charcoal grill featuring prime cuts,
a bucket of Heineken, and
a bottle of champagne.

The exclusive event looks to attract 100 invite-only guests, to experience the occasion and has received great interest, with seating of six guests per table.

The event will take place between 2pm to 6pm.
