Police Probe Speaker’s House Alleged Robbery

Police are investigating an alleged burglary and theft case at the chiefly residence of Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the alleged offence and said it allegedly took place between November 5 and November 6 at the Speaker’s residence on Bau Island.
She said the discovery was made after a woman, who looked after the house, discovered mats and homeware appliances missing.
