Top choice goalkeeper Misiwane Narube’s participation for Ba at the Vodafone Fiji FACT campaign is in doubt.

He is likely to be replaced by Isikeli Seva Jnr if he is not fully recovered in time.

Coach Ronil Kumar said Narube’s name is on the team squad for the tournament.

“Misiwane has yet to recover from a knee injury and is a concern for the team.  We hope he fully recovers and be fit by this weekend,” he said.

He added the team has resumed training with the help of former coach Imdad Ali.

The former Ba rep is the team’s technical director.

“It is great to have him on the team. He was the coach when I was playing for Ba and we are working together now,” Kumar said.

“Most of these players have not won the Fiji FACT and we are confident we can end 2020 on a high.”

The Men in Black last tasted glory in 2010 after they edged Navua 1-0 in the final at Lautoka.

Ba remained as one of the successful teams in the competition and has a record of winning the Vodafone Fiji FACT title seven times since 1991.
