The Lautoka Methodist Primary School will reintroduce its computer classes after ANZ Pacific donated 10 computers to the school.

School manager and former teacher of the school, Andrew Pillay said the greatest gift a person could give to any child was the investment in their education.

“We had a computer lab which was established about 15 years ago, the condition deteriorated and we ran out of machines,” said Mr Pillay.

The donation includes a printer for Year 7 and Year 8 students.

School headboy David Levy said, “This will help us move forward in life.”

ANZ Bank Head of Retail Fiji, Renu Kumar said: “Teachers are doing a great work in terms of educating our young children to be successful people.

“At ANZ we are very proud to do what little we can to contribute to a thriving community and to date, we have donated computers to over 250 schools.”
