Let’s Go Local: Rotuma Is Next – Towler Sets Local Travel Sights

The two places Mike Towler is likely to be found when away from work, are either in the shade of an avocado tree in his backyard, or the beach.
But not just any beach.
Natadola beach, just 30 minutes out of Sigatoka town, is where he enjoys taking visitors.
The white sandy beach that stretches over a kilometre in length, is matched with surf that warn of a stronger undertow.
The beach is divided by a waterway that separates the public access area from a nearby five star resort.
Mr Towler, managing director of his Suva-based company Performance Flotation Development Ltd, and chairman of the Fiji Export Council, described the beach as iconic.
He responded to some travel queries from SunBiz.

What’s One Fiji Destination On The Top Of Your Bucket List, And Why?
Rotuma, because of its unspoilt beauty.
Rotuma is over 600 kilometres north of Suva, requiring a few days of sea travel, or a few hours of air travel.
Some local shipping companies service the franchised route.

Rotuma’s unspoilt beauty makes for an interesting destination.
