Mental Preps Vital, Says Coach Rodu
Mental preparation was one of the key areas the FoodCity/Ash Styles & Cuts Rewa football side worked on before today’s semifinal clash against Ezy Kool Nadi.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Rewa coach, Marika Rodu said the players’ character would be put to the test today.
He said the players need to be focused right from the start since it won’t be easy playing against the defending champions.
Rodu said at the moment it’s all about recovery and getting the boys to visualise their game.
“The boys have to adapt to the heat and also to the ground conditions.”
“The target is to continue and improve on our defence,” he said.
Rodu said so far the tournament was good since they had conceded only one goal and were keeping their defence tight.
“We have played according to the plans we’ve set and have reached the semifinal.”
