Opposition Caucus Awaits Speakers Decision On Leader’s Seat
The Opposition Caucus will await the decision from the Speaker of Parliament Ratu Epeli Nailatikau to declare the Leader of Opposition seat vacant before they vote on a new leader.

The Opposition Caucus will await the decision from the Speaker of Parliament Ratu Epeli Nailatikau to declare the Leader of Opposition seat vacant before they vote on a new leader.
Speaking on behalf of the Opposition, Whip Lynda Tabuya said they are yet to discuss and nominate names for a new Opposition Leader and might do that later today or tonight depending on the response from the Speaker.
It is believed that members are split on two MPs namely Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu and Viliame Gavoka as the next Opposition Leader.
