Put God First Is Key To Success, Dux Tells

Suva Primary School Dux aims to make history at Jai Narayan College.
She wants to be named the dux of college in five-years’ time.
Ruth Seru, 13, said because of the support from her family and her teachers who had believed in her, she was able to achieve the best.
“I am so happy that I have achieved it,” she said.
Ruth said she wanted to become a Doctor after seeing her grandfather being sick.
“I want to become a Doctor because I do not like to see people sick. My grandfather was sick too. He has heart problems. Doctors save lives and I want to save lives as well. I am glad that my grandfather is still alive to witness my achievements.”
Putting God first is the key to her success, she says.
Ruth scored 483/500 in her Annual Examination. She also received awards for the first prize, highest mark for Healthy Living, Social Studies and Mathematics.
She advised her junior students at Suva Primary School to work hard and achieve their goals.
“Do your best and God will do the rest,” she said.
