“As advised by the Fiji Meteorological Service, Tropical Cyclone (TC) Yasa Category 3 is already in Fiji waters and continues to intensify.”
“As TC YASA shows a projected landfall in Fiji this week, I offer a few words of advice to all Fijians to take heed of warnings from the weather office and the Fiji National Disaster Management Office.”
“I ask that you join me in securing your homes, helping those that need you in their preparations, and run through possible evacuation drills. According to the Fiji Meteorological Service, TC YASA is likely to become a Category 5 as it passes close to or over Fiji.”
This is will be a very powerful cyclone.
Risk to life and property is extremely high.
