FNPF Offices Closed But Services Available Online

Fiji National Provident Fund services will still be available online despite the closure of all their offices around the country to adhere to advisories for Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
The Fund activated its business continuity plan for natural disasters yesterday afternoon, to enable key stakeholders to access our services during this time.
This means that members wishing to access the active COVID-19 withdrawal phases, can still do so through the myFNPF App. Members can also send their applications for the other withdrawal grounds through email to Information@fnpf.com.fj
Chief executive officer Jaoji Koroi said that despite the closure of Fund offices, key services will still be provided online. FNPF Offices nationwide will be closed today and tomorrow (17 & 18 December) and will reopen as soon as the relevant authorities give the necessary clearance.
“The safety of our members, pensioners and staff are paramount. We understand that there are some members who may need to access their funds during this time for medical or funeral assistance and we are enabling this through our digital platforms,” said Mr. Koroi.
“We do plead with our members to bear with us as there may be connectivity issues due to the weather but we will assist them as best as we can.
“We hope that the situation will change but for now we urge them to adhere to the weather advisories and to ensure they remain cautious and prepared”, Mr Koroi adds.
”A nation-wide curfew will be in place from 4pm today.”
Members are requested to keep listening to the radio or follow the FNPF’s social media sites for updates.
