Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has once again reiterated that children must be monitored at all times.

He said Police were concerned of youths who often resort to swimming in flooded areas or have this dangerous habit of jumping off bridges.

He added that the continuation of heavy rain caused by Cyclone Yasa was bound to cause flash flooding in some areas yesterday, therefore, safety must be a priority at all times.

Acting Commissioner Tudravu is requesting members of the public to take heed of the advisories and take the necessary safety precautions to avoid loss of life and putting others in danger.
