Located along the Queens highway at Vatukarasa Village, Baravi Handicrafts Cafe is often overlooked for being just another highway gift store.

Not so. The cafe offers fine coffee, good food, a cosy indoor and outdoor ambience to complement it.

Better still, parking is not a concern.

Operated by Jack’s of Fiji, the riverside store has evolved from its early days of locally hand-carved souvenirs, to an air-conditioned shopping area, and a hygienic cafe.

Customers also have an option of enjoying their coffee outside, to admire the crashing waves across the road.

Baravi Handicrafts opens daily at 7am, and closes at 6pm.

On Sundays, business closes at 5pm.

Cafe Planet

From Vatukarasa, you will arrive at Cafe Planet, Korotogo, in about 10 minutes.

Word is, Cafe Planet transfers love into every cup of coffee.

One review likened the coffee to that of Italy, and no where else.

Another rave on Trip Advisor said the cafe was a winner.

From Monday to Saturday, the cafe opens between 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Opening hours on Sunday are   8:30am to 2:30pm.
