Winning Debut For Naulago

Fijian-born flyer Siva Naulago’s career for the Bristol Bears kicked off with a win over Connacht.
He was named in the side that defeated Connacht 27-18 in the second round of the Heineken Champions Cup on Sunday at the Galway Sports grounds in Ireland.
The former rugby league player played with Lautoka born number eight Nathan Hughes while Flying Fijians centre Semi Radradra was ruled out because of injury he sustained in the game against Georgia last month.
According to the Bristol Bears news Naulago was rated seven for his overall performance during the game.
The winger didn’t really get the ball in any decent attacking positions on the heavy pitch in Galway, but he showed flashes of what he will offer with a couple of beautiful one handed catches and pickups. He cleverly put in the chip kick which led to Bundee Aki’s yellow card when he pulled back O’Conor who looked to be winning the race to gather it.
The yellow card proved to be the key moment of the match as Bristol ran away with the game in that 10 minute spell, crossing the line twice.
A chip kick late in the match in his own half was less impressive as it was taken on the full and run back with interest to put his side under pressure.
