Growing up in Daku, Vanua Levu, 55-years-old Satiya Wati is known in her area for her talent in baking.
“I love baking and my family, neighbours and community know it,” Ms Wati said.
“Baking was and will always be my favourite pass time,” she said.
The mother of two decided to venture out and bake the cake that is always on demand during the festive season, a Christmas cake.
In 2018, she started to put together her own Moist Christmas Cake.
While her recipe is top secret, she ensured that it is pure vegetarian and only uses virgin coconut oil.
The best thing about this Christmas cake is that it is moist, homemade and affordable.
What is celebration without the special fruit cake during this festive season. It is a tradition to which became incredibly popular in Victorian England and a vital part of celebrating holidays.

Apart from baking, Ms Wati also loves to cook, do gardening (flowers and vegetables) and singing.
