Kasavu Death Crash- Lovers Die From Drowning, Not From injuries: Police
Tei’Ete O’Brien and girlfriend Merewalesi Rokotuitai... they died on their way to catch the ferry.

The two lovers who had an accident in Kasavu, outside Nausori died as a result of drowning on Christmas Day, confirmed the Fiji Police Force.

Police spokesperson Savaira Tabua said Tei’Ete O’Brien, 31 and Merewalesi Rokotuitai, 22, drowned. She said they did not die as a result of the impact when the vehicle went off the road and down into Drekainakelo Creek just metres away from the Rewa River.
