Ahmadiyya Youth Group Helps Cyclone-Hit Bua

The Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Fiji, the youth movement of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, partnered with Humanity First to distribute relief items to Tropical Cyclone Yasa impacted families.
About 60 grocery ration packs were delivered for 200 people in Vanua Levu by the Nadi-based group.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Association youth president, Munauwar Khan said their target were especially those in the interior of Bua.
The teams travelled to Nasarwaqa, Lekutu, Kalabu, Droca, Valelawa, Valoca and Labasa to distribute the food packs.
“Honestly, it was so satisfying to see the smile and happiness on their faces when they received the packs,” said Mr Khan.
“In future, if God is willing and we if have the capacity, we will surely do more for the people of Vanua Levu.”
The movement’s motto is ‘love for all, hatred for none’.
“It is the duty of every human being to help your fellow beings when in need, irrespective of caste, creed, color or religion,” he said.
“Our motto is a code to build a peaceful and harmonious society and this can only be achieved if we spread love, peace and show kindness towards mankind.”
