Ronil Kumar has yet to decide on coaching the Ba football team for the new season.

“I am still thinking about it. I will be in a better position to comment once I meet new Ba Football president,” he said.

Kumar is weighing his options after he joined the Fiji Police Force as a special constable four months ago.

“As of now I’m still the Ba football head coach and I have yet to give in my resignation letter. There is no pressure from any side. I’ve joined the Fiji Police Force as a special constable,” the 36-year-old said.

Ba FA had a disappointing 2020 season after failing to win a tournament.

The Men In Black made the semi-finals of INKK Battle of the Giants and Courts IDC tournaments and missed out on the Vodafone Premier League title by four points.

The former midfielder was given a difficult task of build a winning team after losing 15 key players other districts.

To add salt to the wound, the suspension of key players who won the Vodafone Premier League last year.

Ba FA secretary Iliyaz Khan said: “I have not received any resignation letter from him. I cannot disclose on when we have our annual general meeting (AGM).

However, the Men in Black still holds the record of most tournament wins by way of 21 Premier League titles, 24 IDC titles, 17 B.O.G 17 titles, 8 FACT titles, 19 CVC titles and defeating the Blue Tigers, the India national team  in 2005 since the association was founded in 1935.
