Tudravu Challenges Women Police Officers

Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu challenged each of the current women Police officers to become the first to hold the position of Commissioner of Police.
He said this while honouring the retired and current women Police officers in a celebration that marked their 50 years of service in the Fiji Police Force.

ACP Tudravu said it was now apparent that the institution was heading in the direction where it cannot rely on its men all the time.
“I want you all to rise to the expectations required and create your own legacy within the organisation,” he said at the Nasova Police Academy gym on Wednesday.
“I urge the Senior Women Officers to be a good role model to the younger women officers who will be looking up to them for guidance.”
He also acknowledged the contributions of the retired Women Officers who paved the way for all current Women officers within the organisation.
