Accommodation and conference facilities in the Hidden Paradise of Savusavu are growing.

Wasawasa Lodge, overlooking the Koro Sea, is scheduled to open on January 14, with 16 rooms for guests.

Wasawasa Lodge, like the nearby luxury Namale Resort and Spa, is owned by American motivational speaker and bestselling author, Tony Robbins.

It is just along the Hibiscus Highway from Namale, and 20 minutes from Savusavu Town.

Mrs Keefe said Wasawasa Lodge was for business and leisure travellers to the North.

Namale Resort co-general manager, Bill Keefe, said they had planned to open with the Love Our Locals specials at Christmas.

But this was cancelled in light of the devastation of Cyclone Yasa in Vanua Levu.

With borders closed by the pandemic, Mr Robbins and his Namale managers the Keefes have invested in developing Wasawasa Lodge to cater for the growing number of travellers to Savusavu from Viti Levu.

These are people discovering and enjoying the Hidden Paradise in Savsavu Tourism Association’s Go Overseas to Savusavu initiative.

Now they can also experience one of the Tony Robbins properties which accommodated people who have come to Savusavu from around the world.
