Six Teams For Club Comp

Fiji Football Association chief executive officer, Mohammed Yusuf confirmed six teams would compete in the National Club Championship playoffs.
The competition will be held at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka from Friday to Sunday.
Seven teams were initially confirmed to participate, however, Friends United from Nasinu has been ruled out.
“Only six teams will be competing. Labasa has no team as they did not complete their local league,” Yusuf said.
“Nasinu did not qualify because of compliance issues.”
The six teams are defending champions, Yalalevu from Ba, Rewa’s Kasavu, Suva’s North Pole, Nadi’s Nalovo, Lautoka’s Press and Greenstar from Nadroga.
The final playoffs will be held on January 14-17 with the venue to be confirmed later.
Yusuf added that the transfer window would be closed at the end of the month.
