Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa’s monthly Beach, Beats and Eats event has been successfully celebrated since July 2020.

The resort welcomed in 2021, with their Beach, Beats and Eats – New Year’s and Recovery Party in conjunction with Tourism Fiji, Inside Out and VOU from 31 December 2020 to 2 January, 2021.

Theme

As the event was such a success, the resort will be hosting their first Beach, Beats and Eats event for 2021 taking place from 22 to 24 January, 2021.

The theme, The Great Australian BBQ will feature a classic Aussie BBQ with grilled meats and seafood, Aussie staples such as steak sangas, sausage sizzles, homemade meat pies by the poolside food stalls and iconic desserts.

Aussie beverages will be on hand to quench the thirst with rum summer punch, beer and cider buckets and 50 per cent off Australian wines.

Entertainment

Happy hour will feature two for one beers and cocktails.

VOU will keep the fun vibe of the event going with their Kid’s Dance Workshop, a fun activity for children to practice their dancing skills.

VOU will also entertain guests with pop up shows poolside and throughout the weekend.

Featuring entertainment from Inside Out with a poolside DJ jamming to 2020 Triple J’s Hottest 100, it is sure to be a party.

Enjoy live entertainment from the Inside Out Band who will be jamming at sunset and through the night. Sunday will feature poolside entertainment from Inside Out Trio with Mes, Tim & Bill until 3pm.

There will be fun for everyone with a campfire on the beach, kids movies in the sand and a family treasure hunt.

Kids eat for free for up to two children per room under 12 years of age with the resort offers complimentary kids club activities.
