Top Positions In Disciplined Forces Advertised

The three top positions in Fiji’s disciplined forces were advertised in today’s Fiji Sun.
These positions are of the Commissioner of the Fiji Police Force, the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service.
Interested applicants have a little over two weeks to submit their applications to the Constitutional Offices Commission. Applications close on February 1, 2021.
The three different roles are responsible for the preparation and implementation of their strategic plans, including the annual corporate plan and the annual budget plan and must ensure such plans incorporate detailed financial and physical operating needs to secure sufficient and timely resources from the Government within their various institutions.
The positions are currently held by:
Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho
He is presently studying at the Royal College of Defence Studies in the United Kingdom for one year.

Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto
Rear Admiral Naupoto has been a career Military Officer since 1982 when he joined the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and served in the Fiji Navy.
During his military career, he has trained widely in Military Tactics, Leadership and Management in Military institutions in New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, and United States of America.
He is a graduate of the Australian Navy Staff College and the Asia Pacific Centre Security Studies in Hawaii.
Fiji Corrections Commissioner Commander Francis Kean
Commander Francis Kean was appointed Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service on March 4, 2016.
