Let’s Paint Lawaqa Green: Ali

Executives of the Greenstar Football Club are calling on its fans to paint Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka green.
Host Greenstar will face defending champions Yalalevu FC in the semi-final of the Vodafone National Regional Club Championship 2020 on Saturday.
Club Secretary Altaaf Ali said: “This is history for us to play semi-final at our own turf. We respect Yalalevu as they have Ba district reps and icons in the side. Yalalevu is unbeaten in pool play. But a good turnout of our fans can propel the boys to upset Yalalevu. Let’s paint Lawaqa green.”

“We expect both players to be in the first line up in the semi-final. The boys have to up the tempo knowing that Yalalevu has experience in the side,” he added.
He thanked Fiji FA for allowing the semi-final and final to be played at home.
The side is boosted with the inclusion of Nadroga team captain Tomasi Tuicakau, Waisale Tale Jnr, Taniela Robula, Zain Ali, Romit Narayan, Zain Ali, Setareki Vola and former Nadroga goalkeeper Ben Rokobaro.
