Chief of Operations Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khan is looking to improve traffic management by using drones for aerial surveillance and the deployment of officers on the ground.

ACP Khan’s comments come after he assured the public of better management of traffic in towns and cities as school begins next week.

Towards the end of last year Police reviewed their traffic operations in terms of traffic management to facilitate the flow of traffic.

ACP Khan said they would continue this year and will be looking at traffic management to see the identified soft points where they can deploy their officers.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts announced that Year 13 classes will begin from February 8.
