After five years leading ANZ’s business in Fiji, ANZ Fiji Country Head Saud Minam will leave ANZ on 30 April 2021.

During his tenure at ANZ Fiji, Mr Minam oversaw the FJ$10m refurbishment of ANZ Fiji’s branch network, bringing it up to international standards, as well as advances in digital banking, including the introduction of the ANZ Pacific App to Fijian customers.

When announcing his departure, Mr Minam said he has enjoyed every minute of his time at ANZ Fiji and was especially proud of the ANZ Fiji team’s ability to respond to challenges, especially over the past year.

“One of my goals when I began at ANZ Fiji was to promote and support diversity in our team,” he said.

“I’m proud to see so many in our management team thriving in their roles.

“I look forward to my next challenge and am excited to stay in Fiji and contribute to our vibrant economy, community and culture.”

ANZ Regional Executive for the Pacific, Tessa Price said Mr Minam had done a fantastic job leading the ANZ team in Fiji and thanked him for his dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to the role.

“Mr Minam has been cool, calm and collected when acting under pressure. His enthusiasm and commitment to the role, as well as his ability to listen, learn and adapt is commendable.We thank him for his dedication over the past five years”.

ANZ will advertise the role externally in the coming days.
