Tough Test At Uprising

The Fijian 7s training squad have marched into camp without suspended forward, Sevuloni Mocencagi.
This was confirmed yesterday by Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer, John O’Connor.
The Gareth Baber-coached side are fielding two teams in this weekend’s Mobil Uprising 7s tournament at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba.
“The training squad went through their medical check-up before they start with their training session,” O’Connor said.
Mocenacagi is suspended for 12 matches after being red carded twice during the first leg of the Super Sevens Series at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, last weekend.
O’Connor said there were no new inclusion in the training squad but however, they would soon bring in new players.
Pools
The two Fijian 7s teams have been drawn as the top seeds of Pool A and B in this weekend’s tournament.
In Pool A, they face Uprising, Taveuni’s Cross of Victory and Veiyasana Providers.

Ratu Filise are in Pool D along with Army, Wardens and Lami Cavaliers.
