Ashna Kumar followed up on these court proceedings today:

1. Timoci Cakau was acquitted today of manslaughter. Cakau was alleged to have caused the death of Ratu Emosi Seru Tagivakatini at a nightclub in Suva.

2. Shameem Khan’s trial date has been set for May this year. FICAC has several charges laid against him including causing the loss of more than $4 million.

3. Jone Vakarisi’s trial has been set, Vakarisi has several charges laid against him, all related to alleged domestic violence at his residence in nabua.
