Let’s Go Local: Byblos ‘A Taste of Lebanon’ Restaurant at Radisson Blu Resort Fiji

Denarau Island’s newest restaurant, Byblos ‘A Taste of Lebanon’ located at the Radisson Blu Resort is scheduled to open officially on Saturday, February 13.
Lebanese cuisine is among the healthiest food in the world because of its ingredients low fat options and the way they are prepared.
For all of you who cannot travel, Byblos will be bringing you on a food cultural journey to Lebanon and the Mediterranean Sea.
Dining concept
Charles Homsy General Manager at the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, said: “This is the first of its kind dining concept in Fiji’s restaurant and culinary landscape, reflecting Radisson Blu Fiji continuous search for diversification, innovation and creativity, especially during uncertain and difficult times.
“It gives the staff and management a sense of purpose, pride and motivation and keeps us tuned to the Hospitality and consumer trends and expectation.”
“We are proud to offer this good and healthy food to our guests and customers in a very warm and relaxed ambiance mixed with the traditional Fijian and Lebanese Bula and Marhaba (Lebanese for Bula) Spirit,” he adds.
With a motto like, ‘On Fiji Time’, the restaurant feel is nostalgic and retro to compliment the homely style of cuisine served.
Expect delicious and nutritious menu option serving freshly cold and hot middle eastern custom of Mezze (which involves sharing generous portions of appetizers among family and friends), and BBQ’s.
Open for lunch and dinner from 12pm to 9.30pm Wednesdays to Sundays weekly, Lebanese Executive Chef Georges Najm, recommends a mouthwatering traditional Lebanese Tabbouleh, hummus, fresh saj bread, Mashawi (charcoal grill) and the famous baklava and many other sweet delights.
Lebanese beverages available offering the perfect setting for family and friends to unwind and have a great time over laughs and delicious food.
“We introduced few Lebanese items to our Menu last year, and they were so popular that we decided to dedicate a full restaurant and a full genuine Lebanese Menu.
“We are very excited for the official launch and we look forward to welcoming our all guests,” says Andreas Reinhardt, at the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji.
Guest experience
Executive Chef Georges said: “With cuisine increasingly becoming a more significant part of the guest experience, we place great focus on the quality and service of our dining options and we look forward to continuing the trend to lift resort culinary experiences here in Fiji.”
The idea is to offer generous Lebanese Style Serves with equally generous prices, mezza starts from FJ$8 per person, FJ$18 on select set menu option and children dine from as little as FJ$15 per child on Kids Menu prices.
Byblos venue is also an ideal location for special events celebration and offer takeaways around Nadi area.
In celebration of this new establishment, Radisson Blu Resort Fiji, Denarau Island will be running promotions for the first month.
