118 Vehicles Offloaded At Suva Port
Mr Dela said that both Suva and Lautoka ports had been busy since last week with the arrivals of eight container ships and a car carrier.

Vehicle Carrier Gardenia Ace offloaded 118 vehicles at Suva Port last week, according to Fiji Ports Terminal Limited (FPTL) chief executive officer, Hasthika Dela.
Gardenia Ace port of rotation is Japan, Suva, and Auckland.
Mr Dela said that both Suva and Lautoka ports had been busy since last week with the arrivals of eight container ships and a car carrier.
FPTL recorded the following the past last weeks:
- Micronesian Pride offloaded 130 units and loaded 117 units.
- MV Shansi offloaded 470 units and loaded 155 units.
- Southern Moana offloaded 239 units and loaded 258 units.
- Olomana offloaded 33 units and loaded 79 units.
- Capitaine Tasman offloaded 300 units and loaded 244 units.
- Capitaine Quiros offloaded 84 units and loaded 174 units. Southern Pearl offloaded 59 units and loaded 159 units, and
- Capitaine Wallis offloaded only 162 units.
Mr Dela said four oil tanker vessels were expected to arrive this month.
Oil tanker MT Kiribora had last week offloaded 48,036 metric tonnage of oil at Suva Port, he said.
He did not confirm the total volume of oil that was offloaded in Suva last year.
