Mum, Imeri Koroivutagi with her children after being badged prefects at Chauhan Memorial School.

My children have been the best motivators when going through tough times in life.

These were the sentiments shared by Imeri Koroivutagi as she watched three of her five children badged prefects at Chauhan Memorial School in Lami yesterday.

Her children are; Luseana Kotobalavu (Year 5), Joyce Victoria (Year 2) and Filimone Tadumailaucala Junior who was inducted captain for his preschool class.

“To see my three kids badged as prefects is an emotional moment for me especially with what we are going through right now as a family,”

“It is a source of new strength for my husband despite not being present to see the induction,” she said.

The Fiji Sun team had earlier shared the story of her husband Filimone Tadumailaucala after he was involved in car accident along Maui Bay that caused him to be bedridden.

The accident fractured his spinal cord and paralysed him from neck to toe.

Mrs Koroivutagi thanked the school for entrusting her children into leadership roles at a young age.

“The support and understanding have been so overwhelming after my husband’s story was posted on social media and the Fiji Sun newspaper,” she said.

Mrs Koroivutagi thanked those helping hands for their undying support towards her family.
