Upholding discipline is priority for Lautoka Seventh-day Adventist Primary School student heads.

The school badged its head boy Akuila Maraivalu and head girl Hannah Grace Posiano during the school’s prefect induction last week.

They are in Year Eight. The pair are the first in their families to take on the roles.

“We are going to help our teachers when they need us in supervising the students,” Hannah said.

“We will work together to make sure that the students listen to us and obey the teachers at all times.”

Akuila, originally from Naqia Village in Wainibuka, Tailevu, said he looked forward to serving the school.

“I hope I can make my family and my school proud,” he said.

The deputy head boy is Luke Vulavou and deputy head girl is Seinimere Natiti. The school has a roll of more than 300 students.
