Ashna Kumar followed two public interest cases today:

1. A 28-year-old former sales executive of Fiji TV accused of stealing more than $11,000 appeared at the Magistrates Court in Suva. Jone Silaira appeared before Magistrate Seini Puamau and is charged with 16 counts of obtaining financial advantage and one count of causing a loss.

2. Magistrate Seini Puamau will deliver her judgment in the case of Freesoul Real Estate Development (Fiji) PTE Limited on March 12. Freesoul Real Estate Development (Fiji) PTE Limited is charged by the DPP with two counts of undertaking unauthorised developments and one count of failure to comply with a prohibition notice.
