Lomary Secondary School is on track in their  mission to top the girl’s medal tally in the Suva Zone Two competition.

The Serua-based school takes an early lead in the girl’s category with three gold medals. On Tuesday afternoon, the 1500 metres girls’ finals took place at the Suva Grammar School ground.

The sub junior girl’s 1500m final was won by Fane Fifita of SGS.

The junior girl’s final was won by Makereta Adi of LSS, Maria Ranadi took out the intermediate race while Amele Likuwaqa won the senior girl’s final.

Today, the boy’s 1500m finals along with the 3000m open for both girls and boys will be held while the rest of the events will be competed at the ANZ Stadium on Friday.
