Vonolagi: We’ve To Talk A Lot

Striker Sairusi Nalaubu made his mark by scoring for the Viti Water Flow Lautoka side as they beat Navua 1-0 in their Digicel Premier League clash at Churchill Park, Lautoka, yesterday.
What happened: After the DPL opening, Lautoka started strongly as they looked for an early goal. The Navua defence lifted their game and never gave in easily.
The hosts suffered a setback when midfielder Zibraaz Sahib was injured and had to leave the field.
Halftime: Lautoka 0-0 Navua.
In the second half Nalaubu began to combine well with his team-mates. He received a well-timed pass from Dave Radrigai to slot in their winning goal.
Comments: Lautoka coach Tagi Vonolagi said: “We need to work on our coordination with the players. Communication was not there and we need to communicate more from the goalkeeper to the backline and so on.
Navua head coach, Ameet Prakash said: “Taking into consideration that the Lautoka team is a tough side, our boys played according to the game plan we had set. We’ll concentrate on our recovery and improve on our finishing which is an area of concern.”
