Members of the the Diverse Voices and Action (DIVA) for Equality gathered at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka on Monday for the first round of consultations and to celebrate International women’s day.
A poem titled ‘while we are still around’ was recited by Camari Serau after which the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation reminded those present to build safe spaces in schools and workplaces, promoting positive family relationships to encourage the empowerment of women and girls’.
