Main Complex Is Completed: The Hub Lautoka

The Hub in Waiyavi, Lautoka, main complex is complete.

The Hub executive director Rajend Nath said his contractors and subcontractors are currently finishing the roof over the deck of the multi-million dollar project.

He said soon tenants would carry out the fit outs while they move to the next stage.

“This next stage include the installing of the vegetable stalls, car wash and grog parlor along with extra car parking space for shoppers.”

“Eventually all fit outs should finish in the next three months and as they plan a July/August opening, depending on variations and weather.”

 

Challenges
“Rain and bad weather caused a lot of delays since the foundation works were quite massive.”

“We also had some challenges sourcing building material, especially shortage of steel.”

 

About The Hub
– The Hub will serve as the first complex which is located outside of Lautoka’s Central Business District yet within the city’s boundary.
– It will assist to avoid traffic congestion through the busy city.
– It has a 1500sqm supermarket which is quite massive at ground level that is the New World IGA.
– Most of the people of Lautoka travel to Nadi for better restaurants, now we will experience the same in this complex with the likes of India Gate, and few others.
– New World’s bakery, The Bread
– Sports Bars and Grills for sports lovers. (First floor)
– Liquor shops. (Lower Car Park)
– Secondhand Clothing shops. (Ground Level)
– New Clothes shops. (Ground Level)
– Hair Salon. (First floor)

– Well sorted public toilets for females, males and people living with disability.

The lower level has a massive 600sqm bulk space for New World IGA and customer parking which will lead to ground floor shopping experience and restaurants based on the first floor.
