Tamavua Family In Fear After Alleged Robbery

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro yesterday confirmed that a Police report was lodged and a man was arrested shortly after the incident, questioned and released.

Tamavua Family In Fear After Alleged Robbery

A family in Wairua Road, Tamavua, is living in fear after a group of men allegedly stormed into their shop on Monday and stole cash.

It is alleged that the shop owner was assaulted by the men and sustained injuries on his face and head.

The men allegedly gained access when owner opened the grill to pass a gas tank.

When approached by the Fiji Sun yesterday, the shop owner requested not to be interviewed as he fears being attacked by the perpetrators again.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro yesterday confirmed that a Police report was lodged and a man was arrested shortly after the incident, questioned and released.

She said Police investigations on the matter continues.
