The Labasa football side are on a mission to return from Viti Levu on Sunday with maximum points.

The Babasiga Lions face Navua in the second round of the Digicel Premier League at 3pm.

In the opening round of the league, Labasa was held 0-0 by Ba at Subrail Park.

The side had a poor history of playing Navua at the Uprising Sports Centre as they lost 2-1 in a pulsating encounter last year.

Labasa coach Ravnil Pratap said preparations were going well for the team and there were also some niggling injuries.

However, he is hopeful the players will recover in time for the match.

“Navua  has a strong side with a good mix of players and had a decent performance against Lautoka in the first round,” he said.

“Our approach will be to play as a team knowing full well that Navua will be trying their best to win on their home ground.”
