Woman Found Dead In Home, Police Await Post-Mortem Exam

A woman in her 50s was found dead inside her home at Korotogo back road on Wednesday night.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said woman, Ada Lee, was alone at her home.
Ms Lee’s brother John Lee declined to comment when the Fiji Sun visited him.
According to Police the discovery was made by her neighbour after noticing a foul smell coming from the premises.
Ms Naisoro added that Ms Lee’s body was being kept at the Sigatoka Hospital Mortuary awaiting post-mortem examination.
The late Ms Lee was described as a good cheerful person by her neighbor, Veena Kumar, 60, who lived opposite the street.
Ms Kumar said the late Ms Lee, who was a Fijian of Chinese origin, was a very bubbling lady figure in their neighbourhood.
“I came later in this neighbourhood, 30 years ago. She and her family were already here and have been good neighbours since then,” she said.
She recalled to have seen the late Ms Lee last Saturday.
“She would talk to us all the time and last saw her going to town on Saturday,” she said.
