Jasa Is Right, Says Tuwai

Winning the restarts is crucial for any rugby sevens team because it often determines the final score.
This was the view of World Rugby Sevens Player of the Decade Seremaia (Jerry) Tuwai.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Tuwai said he supported the concerns raised by his Olympian team-mate Jasa Veremalua.
Tuwai said winning restarts is an important component of the game they must perfect before the Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan, which is from July 23 to August 8.
“Jasa is right, restart is something that is very important because that is where the game starts, that is where the first pressure starts and eventuating into the first try. Everything good and bad relies on that one kickoff,” Tuwai said.
“It is very important to get the kick off right ahead of the Olympic Games.
“We’re working really hard in training. “We trust our coaching staff that will guide us into winning that Olympic gold.”
Tuwai revealed they had been working hard for the past weeks in trying to perfect their kickers and jumpers.
