Arif Khan is a man of many hats.

He is the founder of Cacaofiji, company director of Vanua Chocolate Fiji, and director of Bayshore Real Estate agency

Originally from Yalalevu, Ba, he lives in Nadi.

“I had lived in the Bay Area, California, for some 18 years before returning to Fiji to pursue social entrepreneurship,” he said.

His café, Vanua Chocolate Fiji, is based in Nadi.

Sourcing cocoa beans from local farmers, Mr Khan is passionate about promoting local farmers and letting locals enjoy products that are Fijian made.
What are your hobbies?

Reading, watching documentaries, and long walks.

I also enjoy, watching world soccer clips, including Roy Krishna highlights.
How many places in Fiji have you visited so far?

I have been pretty much all over Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

I would love to visit some of the outer islands.

What is the one place in Fiji you would take every visitor to, and why?

Savusavu, because it is such a picturesque town.

What is your favourite secret backyard spot?

I love sitting on my deck on a rocking chair, sipping craft coffee.

What is your favourite place for a pie or coffee?

I would have to say it’s the Vanua Chocolate café in Nadi

What is that one spot in Fiji that is on top of your bucket list?

I would love to visit the beautiful island of Taveuni.
