Former radio personality, Pio Ratuwaqa has been jailed for two years by the High Court in Suva for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing the death of a woman two years ago.

The 54-year-old, convicted for manslaughter, appeared before Justice Thushara Rajasinghe today for his sentencing. Ratuwaqa was involved in an accident which occurred on March 30, 2019.

He lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the road at Gardner Place, Nasese.
