Nausori Town Council Chief Executive Officer Faces Staff Petition

The special administrators of Nausori and Nasinu have appointed a panel to investigate claims by the staff of Nausori Town Council against the chief executive officer, Anurashika Bari.

Special administrator chair for Nausori and Nasinu Baskaran Nair said that he had received a petition from employees.

“A petition has been handed to me by some staff of Nausori Town Council against the chief executive officer, and I have appointed a panel to investigate it,” he said.

Ms Bari remains at work while the panel is investigating the claims.

Some staff have even filed a matter in the Nausori court in this regard. Ms Bari has not commented on the issue.

Minister for Local Government, Housing and Community Development Premila Kumar recently praised the work done by Ms Bari.

Her work in Nausori has also been praised by the administrators.
