Covid-19 Vaccines Arrive From India

Vaccines from India in arrived at the Nadi International airport.
Handing over 100,000 doses of made in India Covid-19 Vaccines from Government of India to Government of Fiji, Prime Minister Rear Admiral (Retired) Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama received the vaccines from the Acting High Commissioner of India to Fiji, Saifullah Khan.
This consignment of 100,000 doses of .made in India Covishield (AstraZeneca) vaccines has been supplied by GOI through grant assistance as a special gesture of friendship and solidarity with the people of Fiji.
Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama said, “We have another shipment of 90,000 doses headed to Fiji in the coming weeks, and we are look forward to working with our development partners on a bilateral basis to secure the many more shipments or safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines.”
