Ashna Kumar was in court and covered the following proceedings:

1. New Zealand Police, Detective Senior Sergeant Damien Espinosa has testified that Canadian national, Joshua Rahman, was seen leaving a hotel in Auckland in December 2018 with his father Tallat Rahman, after an alleged drug deal. The accused, Joshua Rahman is currently on trial for a charge of possession of illicit drugs involving 39.5 kilograms (39 bars) of cocaine between January 23 and February 14, 2019, worth $31 million.

2. Magistrate Seini Puamau will deliver her judgment in the case of Freesoul Real Estate Development (Fiji) PTE Limited on April 9. The matter was called at the Magistrates Court in Suva for judgment, however, Magistrate Puamau said due to her engagements with other cases, she was not able to prepare her judgment.
