Methodist Church Probe To Be Addressed Today

The Methodist Church of Fiji Standing Committee will address the outcome of investigation on alleged child abuse cases at the Dilkusha Home in a meeting today.
This was confirmed by the Methodist Church of Fiji and Rotuma general secretary, Reverend Iliesa Naivalu.
Reverend Naivalu said the meeting will be held at the Centenary Church at 2pm.
Meanwhile, the president of the church Reverend Ili Vunisuwai has already begun his tour of the churches in the 14 provinces after taking on the reins last month.
Reverend Naivalu said the president had already visited churches in parts of Lau, Vanuabalavu and Cicia.
“He will come back (Suva) and then go to Kabara, Moala, Matuku, Totoya and Lakeba,” he said.
“This step taken by the qase levu (president) is regarding the three pillars of the three Es which is Evangelism, Education and Economy.”
Reverend Naivalu also confirmed the Methodist Church conference would be held on the first week of the second term school holidays.
