The Labasa football team remains the only undefeated side after the fourth round of the Digicel Premier League.

The Babasiga Lions drew three games and claimed their first win last weekend after defeating Nadroga 1-0 at Subrail Park.

The Lions were also the only team yet to concede a goal so far in the league.

Labasa coach, Ravneel Pratap attributed this impressive record to his players for their continued hard work.

Pratap said it was a positive sign for them as it showed that their defensive play was working properly.

“Hats off to my players they have really worked hard in improving their defence,” he said.

Pratap said the players were slowly understanding the importance of game management as this was an important aspect of any football team.

He said they will be preparing well for the next game against Nadi at home.

Pratap said Nadi were a formidable side who could beat any team on their day.

“Yes, we respect Nadi as they have quality players and they played really well against Lautoka and Suva,”he added.
