Rup Investments Expands North
Labasa Town council has confirmed that the site at Rosawa Street will be developed by Rup Investments.

Rup Investments is expanding North, with a land area cleared for construction.

Labasa Town special administrator Doreen Robinson confirmed the matter, saying Rup Investments was investing in a new branch located at Rosawa Street, in Labasa Town.

She said the investment represented a vote of confidence for the town during the post pandemic period.

The business economy had significantly contracted in the Northern Division following the impact of COVID-19.

Prime developers of the project Rups Investments Limited have yet to comment after queries about development were sent via email on March 31, 2021.

Rup Investments has built and currently operates all 18 Rups Big Bear stores Fiji-wide.

From the smaller stores in Ba and Tavua to the five-storey flagship stores in Suva city and Rups Mega in Nakasi, Rups history in Fiji dates back to 1989.

According to Rup Investment website, the company commenced a new residential apartment complex construction in June 2019.

The residential complex in Suva is centrally located and will consist of 48 luxury apartments located in a secure gated community complex with onsite parking.

This project was expected to be completed at a budget of $15 million.
